Item 1 on our menu this Friday...Get Out Of Debt, Stay Out Of Debt by Darlene Campbell is a helpful article and reminder about the importance of getting out of debt.

Item 2 on our menu this Friday...Housing Crash to Resume on 7 Million Foreclosures, Amherst Says is from Bloomberg.com. It mentions the fact that there is a huge "shadow" inventory of foreclosures out there. This is not news, or at least it shouldn't be. While foreclosures are continuing to climb on the banks books, they are spreading them out over time. This may make it appear in the future that foreclosures are actually slowing down, but the truth is they are just spreading it out.

Item 3 on our menu this Friday...Unbiblical Advice From Dave Ramsey. In Dave's most recent newsletter he says "What he teaches is nothing new; it’s just God’s and Grandma’s ways of handling money." REALLY?

Does God teach that His people are to be involved in unrighteous systems, systems that are based on "False Weights and Measures" which He says are an abomination to Him and we are not to be a part of? No He does not! Quite the contrary, God repeatedly exhorts and admonishes His people to come out from worldly/secular systems that are unrighteous and contrary to His Word and will.

But Dave believes Christians should be involved and invested in the stock market, a system and a scheme that is part of our greater monetary system. A system that is unrighteous and based on "false weights and measures" of which God says is an abomination. The stock market is no place for a Christian to gamble, I mean invest his money. Biblical wealth is not based on imaginary money, investments in corrupt, dishonest and unrighteous systems and businesses. Biblical wealth is not a stock certificate!

So who is right, God or Dave? I choose God, how about you?

*Note: I have nothing personal against Dave nor some vendetta against him. I greatly appreciate his advice to people about the importance of getting out of debt. But he and other Christians or Christian ministries that believe Christians can be involved in a worldy/secular system that God Himself calls an abomination is very bad and unbiblical advice. I truly believe that if he and others truly understood it was an abomination to God and that Christians are to be removed as far as possible from worldly/secular systems, institutions, viewpoints, etc., they would tell them not to be a part of it...I hope.

Item 4
on our menu this Friday...Big Brother Wants To Watch You! Government intervention is getting rediculous. They want a chip in everything, cows, cars and now pills.
