A new report out from FICO claims that housing prices are not likely to recover till 2020. 2020 seems a long way away, but it is only eight years, it will be here before we know it, but will there be a recovery in prices by then?

It also says "
73% of bankers surveyed see elevated level of mortgage foreclosures for at least five years." This should be no suprise. This of course will deter much of a recovery. My question is, how will they recover to 2005-06 prices so quickly? What will be the driving factor? Is that even reasonable to believe?
