Samaritan Ministries: Better Than Health Insurance

Our family is part of Samaritan Ministries. Since joining them we have
been able cut our insurance costs by over 60%. THAT'S PRETTY GOOD! Plus we get the benefit and blessing of being able to take our money that would have been going towards insurance costs and giving it to others with medical needs.
I see Samaritan Ministries as a much more biblical way cover the medical needs of the Body of Christ. Ideally every local church or if need be a group of churches would do this themselves. Unfortunately they don't.
The Body of Christ is to care for the needs of its members, NOT to rely secular businesses or governments to supply them insurance...even if part of it is coming out of their paycheck.
The insurance world is about as corrupt as the monetary world, so do what you can to rid yourself of it.
