Here is a relatively easy way to download music to your iTunes or MP3 player without paying for it. But is it right to do so?
I enjoy music and I enjoy a variety of music. I currently have 1164 songs in iTunes. Why I need any more, I don't know. A few months back I discovered a way to get my music for free. It all started when I was trying to find a particular song in iTunes and it wasn't there. So I went to YouTube and searched there and found it. Now that I found it, the question was, how do I get a YouTube video onto or into my iTunes? So I did what any thinking person would do, I Googled, "YouTube to MP3" or "YouTube to iTunes." And sure enough, I found a host of Websites that allow you to paste in the html link for the YouTube video/song and it converts it an MP3 file in usually less than 60 seconds. For me personally, I have little interest nor intent to share copies with others. My main interest is to listen to the same music on my computer and iPod that I can listen to on YouTube. But there are times that I can not find the audio anywhere else (which is how I got started with all of this in the first place) and in some cases I may download it and burn it to a disk to hand out to someone. I personally see no issue with this for two reasons:
If doing this is illegal, then:
