We are about restoring biblical economic
and monetary principles to the Body of Christ.
The
word economics comes from the ancient
Greek word oikonomia. From oikos meaning house and nomos meaning custom or law. Hence oikonomia means "house law", "management
of a household" or "rules of the household."
There
are different types of economics (monetary/finance, government/political,
education, business, family, health, law, science, social). The Christian
Economic Report
deals with the Christian Economics and Biblical Economics of these various fields. Our primary focus on
Biblical Economics involves the monetary issues.
For far too long, Christians
have forsaken what God has said about economics and monetary issues and
followed the pagan and secular world when it comes to economics.
Here are some areas in how we have strayed:
We go into debt.
We go into debt with secular lenders who loan us fiat, created out
of thin air money, force us to pay back interest, hold our property as
collateral and forever enslave ourselves to them.
We invest...really gamble Gods money in a Corrupt, Unrighteous and
Unbiblical stock market...investing scheme. A Biblical Investment is
something you put time or money into and get back a greater return. The
stock market, 401K's, IRA's and mutual funds don't guarantee a return on
your investment, thereby they are a gamble not an investment and thereby
it is poor stewardship to invest into a corrupt system.
We live beyond our means.
We are not frugal.
We fail to labor diligently for ourselves. One of the key
fundamentals to Christian Economics is laboring for oneself, providing as
much of your own necessities yourself without purchasing them somewhere
else. And employing others to labor alongside of you.

The Solomon Principle is a biblical guide for "Helping You Produce,
Protect and Pass on Wealth."
The Solomon Principle incorporates the "6 L's of WealthTM"
Labor
Loot
Land
Livestock
Legacy
Love
You can not develop biblical wealth within
our current monetary system. From borrowing to investing, our monetary system is
a corrupt and evil system and you should seek to rid yourself from its bondage
to be a better steward of God's money.
Remember wealth
is not something you pursue, but it is something you produce by your
labor, protect by its wise use and pass on to others. God's Word
reminds us of this in Proverbs 23:4-5
"Do not weary yourself to
gain wealth, cease from your consideration
of it.
When you set your eyes on
it, it is gone. For wealth certainly
makes itself wings like an eagle that flies toward
the heavens."
Wealth
is not to be created for fleshly and material desires. Wealth, whether
it is a little or alot, is about the stewardship of God given
resources. Let us store up our treasure in heaven while being faithful
to what God has given us here in this world.
